Our story
From books for refugees to programs across Afghanistan
KOR began in 1992, when Dr. Mohammad Farid Bazger started publishing books for Afghan children and university students living through displacement. That commitment grew into health services, addiction treatment, professional training, and literacy programs reaching communities across the country.
KOR was the first Afghan NGO to establish a drug and AIDS resource center in Kabul and is an accredited educational provider of the Colombo Plan Drug Advisory Programme.
